Alisos Vineyard is a special spot located just south of Los Alamos between highway 101 and Foxen Canyon. This organically farmed block of Lampia clone Nebbiolo is planted on a steep hillside where the ripening occurs over a long growing season. 2015 was an unusual vintage because of the smaller than normal crop which resulted in a beautifully structured wine. Elevage occurred in a 600L neutral barrel for 33 month before being bottled without any fining or filtration. An additional 20 months of bottle aging allows this wine to show it's beautifully complex nature.
